Taiji (often termed Taichi) is typically practised for health alone. The health benefits are balance, coordination, relaxation, and a feeling of well-being. This is so popular that people often consider Taiji to be a kind of moving Yoga, which is true in some respects, but this leaves out a large chunk of what Taiji really is.
Real Taiji is a very effective martial art that uses Fa-jing (explosive power).
Wudang Kung Fu is the origin of the main internal systems (Taiji, Bagua & Xingyi). Taiji is not about techniques, forget techniques, just learn the principles of movement.
